Hebrews 4:16
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
It's funny how God works, he gives us what we don't deserve and yet he doesn't give us what we do deserve.
Through his grace, he gives us salvation, which is what we don't deserve because of our inequities but it's by the mercy we recieve that God won't let us go to hell, which is what we deserve because we are born sinners. So lets thanks God every minute of our lives. WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE SERVE!!!!

i don't what to be disrespectful and if i have been i don't mean it.i just think our god would anderstand how we are.i don't mean to be sacrelicious or blasphemy. so how far is too far or it is left for interpretation? i know if i go around my grandma talking like that i would get to experience her back hand once more. is there a time and a place for that, or it is the relatinship you build with god? i would hate to be oldskool and boring i feel god is more down to earth and likes individuality.what is your opinion on this matter?

Husband, be good to yourself and love your wife. Many of you men are letting your wife work when you ought to come alongside and help her. I’m not talking about outside the home – I’m just talking about inside the home. When she’s tired and you’re sitting there reading and she’s still in the kitchen, you need to go in there and help her.
You need to protect her physically. She is not physically as strong as you. That doesn’t mean that she is not worth as much as you are because the Bible calls her the weaker vessel. Silk is worth more than denim, but it’s more fragile, beautiful, and delicate. God has given a husband to protect.
Ephesians 5:25-27 says, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it; That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”

Didn't realize I sent my last blog 3 times. Sorry people.
At any rate, I go back to the church office tomorrow after a much needed 1 week vacation. The cruise was great, the lazy days at home were cherished. Actually I got a lot done: fixed my side garage door (damaged in hurricane Frances), organized my closet, fixed my home office desk, did all the laundry from the cruise (whata ya say bro. Tomas), watched Annette organize our garage, stayed in PJ's the whole time. I loved it. Nevertheless I miss being at church. For the first time in 13 years, we stayed home on a Sunday and did not go to a church. It felt too weird to ever do that again. I'm refreshed. God allowed me to not think about ministry for the whole week. That was weird too. My mind is rested. I know that God thoroughly enjoy the 7th day of creation. I hope all of you enjoy your time of vacation whenever it comes.

Hello bloggers....

Just wanted to take this time to thank everyone for their prayers during this difficult time in the life of my family. The sudden death of my cousin's husband Rico was so tragic and untimely. He was 37 yrs of age and died of a massive heart attack. My cousin Michelle is now a single mother of 27 raising to boys that are 2 yrs. old and 8 months old. Michelle has been strengthened and we continue to pray that God's peace and strength reign heavily upon her life and the whole family. I know that they are in God's hands. Something like this really puts things into perspective. Life is but a vapor, but we who believe have a blessed assurance that to die is in fact to gain. We will spend eternity with our creator and are reunited with loved one's that are also believers.
Let's continually keep are eyes on the prize. All that surrounds us is temporal and at times disheartening, but it is our faith that will take us into eternity. In the meantime let's faithfully serve the Lord and expand His kingdom, knowing that our lives are in his hands and if we trust him, he has promised to take care of us.
The word declares, "And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered for a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast."
1 Peter 5:10
Revive us Lord, our family, our church, our city in Jesus name! God bless.

First of all, Congratulations to you, Gloria, and the boys. I thank God for our church families. I knew the first time that we spoke at church, that the Lord had a great purpose for your life. None of us are here by coincidence. Never give up the vision for greatness that the Lord has birthed in your heart. To see you and Gloria in ministry, brings great joy to us all. As we stand on the word and His unfailing promises, we declare Leo that the best is yet to come for our life and church.

As far as your health, I declare in the name of Jesus healing and divine health over your body right now. You are going to be just fine my brother. Jehova Rafa (our healer) rules and reigns. I wish you well with that grueling navy seal workout. I enjoy working out so maybe one day we can get together. I used to run a lot, but because of my back I had to make some adjustments. I still like to pump some iron though :-). I'm trying bro.

Parenting-Limits and Boundaries
“Discipline” comes from the word “disciple” which means “to follow,” which means “to be a pupil, to be a learner, to be a follower.”
And so discipline is to teach children to follow God and to follow their parents. That’s clearly why we should discipline our children. Not to punish them, but to protect them and to train them in the way that they should go and to train them in the proper manners and habits of life.
Punishment is for those that don’t listen to discipline, that don’t follow the discipline of their parents. They’re eventually going to end up in more trouble with the law, trouble in prison, trouble with all sorts of problems.
That’s how God treats us. He disciplines those whom He loves. Love should be the motivation of our discipline, not to make our children feel bad that they did something wrong but to train them in the way they should go.
